God has the final plan - Summer Project Support needed!

Dear Family and Friends,

I am so excited about attending St. Cloud State University next fall that I have already gotten involved with the Christian group, Campus Crusade for Christ.  However, I got more than I ever expected through the ministry.  It has changed my life in many aspects.  I now have a good foundation with stable and reliable friends that hold me accountable in areas needed.  I am currently one of the events coordinators and in the process of starting a focus group for International students on the campus.

Campus Crusade for Christ is a ministry that has been caring for college students since 1951.  The group is very active here on at Saint Cloud State and on 3,500 campuses in the U.S. and overseas.  The Lord has used this ministry to help me frow in my faith and to give me a burden to reach people for Christ.

This summer, I have an unbelievable opportunity to take part in a summer mission project sponsored by Campus Crusade.  I will be going with approximately 30 other students to Seattle, Washington.  This month-long inner city/prison project involves ministering to the poor and inside state prisons.  It is all about knowing Christ and making Him known!  I am excited about the long term impact this summer is going to have on me. 

However, to make this opportunity possible I need to develop a team of ministry partners.  People who will join with me by giving financially.  As you can imagine raising the necessary money will be a big leap of faith for me.  These funds will cover the cost of transportation, room and board, and outreach expenses.  I am asking that you prayerfully consider contributing $200, $100, $75 (or whatever God would direct), to this mission project.

I need to raise these funds by May 20th so the sooner I get your decision the better I will know how close I am to reaching my goal.  All checks can be made out to Campus Crusade for Christ and are tax-deductible.  I have enclosed a self-addressed envelope.

While money is important, it comes in distant second to my need for your prayer support.  Your prayer support is important to the success of this mission; I would like to know if I can count on you in that area as well.
